Cecilia Ray has worked in video production two years, after 20 years as a writer/editor. In her previous life, she was assistant editor, Flying Safety Magazine, in California; transport editor for Aviation Week & Space Technology, in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.; and editor of Cathedral Age Magazine, also in D.C. Since joining DVA, she has worked in nearly every facet of preproduction, including writing proposals, budgets and scripts, to scouting locations, propping, makeup, craft services and food styling. She loves every bit of it, as well as the people she does it with.

Cecilia has a bachelor of science in journalism and communications from University of Florida, and a master of science in business management from Troy State University. She has attended First Coast Culinary Institute and Jacksonville University. Cecilia and her husband, Jerry, have two daughters, who have somehow managed to bring home two spoiled dogs, two guinea pigs, two hamsters, a sugar glider and a hermit crab. Her hobbies include astronomy, cooking, and of necessity, cleaning cages.
