THE FACILITY - ENVIRONMENTAL CONSCIOUSNESS
Digital Video Arts has always been an environmentally conscious company and our new 15,000 square foot video production facility complements our south Jacksonville surroundings. Our goal was to achieve a sustainable design with architectural aesthetics that would minimize our footprint on the environment. DVA's management team focused on maintaining a realistic balance between workspace efficiency and the overall environmental quality of our video and commercial production facility.
"We wanted to make the experience of working at Digital Video Arts much nicer for our staff and our clients," says DVA's executive producer Jennifer Adams.
It is easy to jump on today's environmental bandwagon, but DVA's commitment goes beyond incorporating sustainable products in our new building. Since native plants and trees require much less watering than traditional commercial lawns and landscaping, we reduced the number of parking spaces at Digital Video Arts and dedicated a larger green space adjacent to the office park's protected wildlife preserve. Our interior spaces also incorporate both natural and fluorescent lighting with motion sensors for conserving energy.
