COMPANY - HISTORY
Thanks to our wonderful list of clients who embraced DVA's collaborative concepts and creative solutions for video production, Digital Video Arts has an impressive history as a full-service post-production facility. We will always continue to offer creative solutions for television production, audio production, commercial production and interactive Internet video applications. From the beginning, our team has been devoted to adding our creativity to every client's production project. Working as a team, we quickly earned the respect of our clients and became an integral part of their audio productions, video productions and other motion graphics. Thank you for your interest in Digital Video Arts. You can read about our evolution below:
In 1994, Tony Haines, Clark Fivek and Britt McTammany opened the first DVA production studio in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. Our goal was to grow our video production company by making our team irreplaceable to our clients. We implemented a collaborative philosophy when working with our client's video productions and other media projects. Within two years of opening our doors, Digital Video Arts had doubled in size. By continuing to work very closely with our clients, we began to develop a notable reputation for creating high-quality visual products. Since those early days, DVA has attracted the likes of ABC, NBC, CBS, HBO, Ford, Sprint, McDonald's, RCA and more.
In 1996, DVA expanded its scope and opened a new office in Tampa, Florida. Under the guidance of Jeff Pugh and Paula Peterson, the Tampa facility began to grow. Jeff and Paula built a great team with their own unique approach to creatively meeting the client's needs. DVA's philosophy and commitment continued to earn the respect of our Tampa office's diverse clientele. After 5 years, Jeff and Paula purchased the DVA Tampa facility. Today, their team continues to work with big name clients and agencies developing innovative audio spots and video programming for broadcast media.
Back in Jacksonville, DVA's growth continued. We moved into a 9,000 square-foot video production facility in 1999. We remained committed to making every project better than our clients had ever imagined. Our goal was to exceed the client's expectations, while staying within the constraints of the client's budget and deadlines. The hard work paid off and our teams became a working part of every video production from conception to air. Creative artists, cutting-edge technology, innovative thinking, and a comfortable but inspired work environment are the advantages we offered every client that walked through our doors.
Digital Video Arts became a full- service media provider of turnkey video production solutions when we opened the DVA Productions Division in January 2002. Over the past 15 years as a video and commercial production company, we have fostered great relationships with top-notch agencies and some of the nation's most creative and innovative talent. DVA has been fortunate to work with clients on television productions for ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN, Turner Broadcasting, HBO, the Home Shopping Network, HGTV and many others. We have also created some of the most successful television productions of infomercials on the air.
Many of our client's video productions have been featured in national, regional and local broadcasts. DVA also takes great pride in the documentaries our creative teams have produced on Florida History, Cigar Making, and golf legend Bobby Jones. After all of our video production success stories, we have learned that it is the talent and creativity of our people that has made the difference. At Digital Video Arts, we have been very fortunate and have attracted the most creative editors, designers and artists in the audio and video production business at every level and for every job.
Today, Digital Video Arts is home to many award-winning craftspeople with valuable video and commercial production experience in broadcast media and Internet post-production. Our future looks brighter than ever and we expect even greater opportunities for growth working closely with clients on all facets of audio, video and Internet productions. In fact, we've just completed our new 15,000 square-foot media production facility in Jacksonville, Florida. The video and commercial production center is complete with sound stage, fiber media network, full service kitchen, larger and more comfortable suites, state-of-the-art computer technologies, and much more. We look forward to seeing you here.
