Digital Video Arts' digital film acquisition is always in high resolution. DVA acquires raw footage on SONY HDCAM, Panasonic VariCam, RED HD* and other digital film format cameras for the highest quality end product. We have been acquiring high-definition digital for several years. We’ve re-designed our post workflow to accommodate tapeless editing. For example, advancements in electronic media acquisition allow us to shoot video directly to sticks or cards, then download, convert and color correct the footage for video editing and other post production requirements.

The resolution achieved with the new RED camera system rivals film and allows for an enormous depth of field with a wide selection of film lenses.
*RED camera is the newest video production tool for creative content providers looking for an efficient and cost-effective solution to the more expensive 35 mm digital film acquisition technology. The RED camera allows all work to be stored in a digital domain for efficiency in video editing and the camera's resolution is several times that of traditional HD film or video.
